Adding insult to injury

Today is my birthday. I came in this morning to find my cube all decorated with "50" balloons and a big party scheduled this afternoon for my "milestone" birthday. Only problem? I was born in 1960. And I work with a bunch of accountants - you would think they could do math!

Oh my gosh that is too funny. Happy Birthday no matter what year it is.

ROFL!! I definitely don't look forward to "milestone" birthdays at this point...and don't think I'd want to celebrate one a year early!!

Happy Birthday!!!!

It would be your 50th birthday in China: it's the start of your 50th year.

Have a happy one! The start of my own 50th year was 09/11/2001 (I was born in 1952).

Too funny--Happy Birthday to you, no matter what your age :-)

Perhaps this will spare you the milestone party next year. I've always wondered about accountants . . . it's just smoke and mirrors, right?

That's hilarious! Just think of it as a practice run for next year!
Happy Birthday to someone who is *still* a forty-something!

What fiscal calendar are you on? I'm already in fiscal 2010 so maybe that's what they were thinking?

Happy not-quite 50th birthday!

Don't worry. The auditors will come in catch the math error. They'll probably pop the balloons, too just for good measure :)
